Rolling Fields Landscape Print – The Quiet of the Evening
The Quiet of the Evening is a limited edition rolling fields landscape print inspired by the peaceful countryside of Wiltshire. Gentle fields stretch towards the horizon, creating a peaceful landscape filled with the soft atmosphere of evening.
Rather than recording the countryside exactly as it appeared, I wanted to capture the feeling of being there. The sweeping fields, layered textures and subtle shifts in colour create a quiet landscape that invites you to slow down and look.
Created Through Digital Photomontage
I created this rolling fields landscape print using my original photographs and digital photomontage. I cut, layer and rearrange photographic fragments to gradually build an imagined landscape.
This slow process allows me to explore colour, texture and atmosphere rather than simply document a particular place. You can discover more about my digital photomontage process here.
