Salt Meadow began with fragments gathered along the British coast.
Photographs of grasses, flowers, water and weathered textures were carefully cut, layered and rearranged. Slowly, they became an entirely new landscape—somewhere familiar, but not quite real.
I wanted this print to hold the feeling of standing beside an open shoreline. That moment when the view seems to stretch out and everything becomes a little quieter.
Salt Meadow is available as a signed and numbered limited-edition print in three sizes:
Small: 30 × 30 cm paper
Medium: 50 × 50 cm paper
Large: 61 × 62 cm paper

I’ve never quite known what to call what I do
Every element in my work begins as a photograph, but I’m not really interested in capturing a view in front of me.
I’m interested in taking it apart.
Moving it.
Changing it.
Putting pieces of completely different places together until somewhere new begins to appear.
For years I’ve wondered whether that makes the work photography, collage, digital art—or something else entirely.
These days I tend to settle for artist.
But I’m curious.
If you saw this without knowing how it was made, what would you call it?
The first drops in around 60 days
It hasn’t rained here for around 60 days.
Today, I saw the first drops landing on leaves that have become dry, dusty and brittle after weeks without rain.
It was not even really a shower - Just drops.
Enough to enhance the subtle colours on the water starved surface of the leaves and rest on them like diamonds - Enough to make me stop and take photographs.
After such a long dry spell, something so ordinary suddenly felt precious
I can understand now why some cultures do a rain dance
