Lush is a contemporary green landscape print by British artist Claire Gill. Created through digital photomontage, the artwork combines Claire’s original photography to create an imagined landscape inspired by rolling fields, trees and the rich greens of the natural world.

Each limited edition print is produced on 310gsm Hahnemühle archival cotton rag using museum-quality giclée inks. Every print is signed and numbered by the artist and supplied unframed.

About Lush
Lush is a limited edition green landscape print by British artist Claire Gill. Layers of rolling fields, trees and vegetation come together to create an imagined landscape inspired by the rich colours and textures of the countryside.
Rather than documenting a single place, Claire constructs the landscape from her own photographs. She cuts out, layers and rearranges individual photographic fragments digitally until a new composition begins to emerge. As a result, the finished artwork sits somewhere between photography, collage and painting.
Created Through Digital Photomontage
Claire’s slow digital photomontage process begins with photographs gathered on walks and journeys. Fields, trees, plants, textures and overlooked details become the raw material for an entirely new landscape.
In Lush, layers of vivid green vegetation lead the eye through rolling fields and trees. Changes in colour, texture and scale create a sense of depth, while softer areas give the composition room to breathe. The finished landscape captures the abundance of the natural world while retaining the quiet, contemplative atmosphere that runs throughout Claire’s work.
