The Water’s Edge – Limited Edition Landscape Print
The Water’s Edge is a contemporary limited edition landscape print inspired by Derwent Water in the Lake District. Trees frame the still water while soft reflections and layers of natural colour create a peaceful, atmospheric landscape.
Claire Gill created the artwork using her own original photography and distinctive digital photomontage process. She combines and layers photographic fragments to create an imagined landscape that captures the feeling of a place rather than simply recording it.
The composition reflects Claire’s interest in quiet landscapes and moments of stillness. Layers of photographic detail create depth and texture, while the calm water and surrounding trees bring a sense of tranquillity to the image. As a result, the artwork feels both peaceful and immersive.
