The Bare Bones – Limited Edition Landscape Print

The Bare Bones is a contemporary tree landscape print by British artist Claire Gill. Bare trees, delicate branches and layers of muted natural colour create an imagined landscape with a quiet, contemplative quality.

Claire creates her artworks using her own original photographs and distinctive digital photomontage process. She cuts, combines and layers photographic fragments to build new landscapes rather than simply documenting a particular place. The finished artwork sits somewhere between photography and painting.

The skeletal forms of the trees give The Bare Bones a strong sense of structure and rhythm.
