Quietude – Limited Edition Landscape Print

Quietude is a peaceful limited edition landscape print by British artist Claire Gill. Layers of wildflowers surround still water, while distant mountains and reflected wooden posts create a landscape filled with depth, space and tranquillity.

Claire creates her artworks using her own original photographs and distinctive digital photomontage process. She cuts, combines and layers photographic fragments to build new landscapes rather than simply documenting a particular place. The finished artwork sits somewhere between photography and painting.

Soft blues, muted natural tones and layers of wildflowers give Quietude a gentle, contemplative quality. The vertical posts create structure across the still water, while distant mountains draw the eye towards the horizon. As a result, the artwork brings a quiet connection with landscape and nature into an interior.

Rather than documenting one landscape exactly as it appears, Quietude brings together different photographic elements to create a new sense of place. Water, flowers, mountains and reflections combine through Claire’s digital photomontage process. The resulting landscape feels both familiar and imagined.

Each artwork is professionally produced as a museum-quality giclée print on Hahnemühle archival cotton rag paper using UV-resistant inks. Every print is individually signed and numbered by the artist and supplied unframed.
