Kissing the Shore – Limited Edition Seascape Print

Kissing the Shore is a contemporary seascape print inspired by the Suffolk coast. Gentle water meets a quiet shoreline, creating a peaceful coastal landscape filled with soft colour, texture and space.

Instead of documenting one particular view, I wanted to capture the feeling of standing at the water’s edge. As a result, the shifting boundary between land and sea becomes the focus, creating a landscape that feels both familiar and imagined.

Created Through Digital Photomontage

I created Kissing the Shore using my own original photographs, carefully cutting, layering and rearranging individual elements in Photoshop.

This slow digital photomontage process allows me to move beyond a single photograph. I also combine fragments from different images to explore atmosphere, colour and memory.

The finished artwork sits somewhere between photography and painting, creating a quiet coastal landscape with a contemplative quality.
