About this Brighton promenade print
Brighton Boulevard is a limited edition Brighton promenade print inspired by the architecture and open space of the seafront. A line of weathered benches creates a strong rhythm through the composition and draws the eye along the promenade.
Turquoise railings, distinctive shelters and Brighton’s distant West Pier bring a clear sense of place. Soft coral and peach tones create warmth, while layered marks suggest the worn surfaces and changing textures of the coast.
Claire Gill creates every artwork from her own photographs. Through her original digital photomontage process, she cuts out, rearranges and layers individual elements. As a result, this Brighton promenade print captures the atmosphere of the seafront rather than one literal view.
