About this Brighton seafront print
Brighton Bounce is a vibrant limited edition print inspired by the energy of Brighton seafront. Basketball players move across a colourful court beside ornate Victorian railings and a decorative coastal shelter.
Strong diagonal lines lead through the composition towards the sea and Brighton’s distant West Pier. Turquoise, pink and blue create a fresh coastal palette. Meanwhile, the contrast between modern recreation and historic architecture captures Brighton’s distinctive character.
Claire Gill creates every artwork from her own photographs. Through her original digital photomontage process, she cuts out, rearranges and layers individual elements. As a result, this Brighton seafront print brings together different moments and details within one imagined scene.
