‘Eventide’ is an abstract seascape art print in pinks, blues and neutral tones. It is created from photographs, taken at the quintessentially English seaside town of Southwold on the Sussex coast. I have visually combined photographs of peeling paint taken from the beach huts which line the promenade, in order to simulate the coastal seascape and sunset. I use a digital photomontage approach to do this, by selecting parts of different images and combining them to form an entirely new scene.
The image reflects the soft relaxing light one finds along this part of the British coastline. This abstract coastal art is designed to evoke the relaxing sense of early evening. As a result It would be perfect in a bedroom or relaxing interior space. Buy as a gift for abstract art lovers, who love the coast, or for a coastal style interior.
